Florida Car Insurance
Florida Car Insurance
There are many necessary things you must have in this world. And one of them is having an insurance policy for your car. Though others may think that car is just a luxury but what if you are a respected businessman that travels every now and then, would you not opt to have a car rather than riding a bus everyday towards your work location? Of course who would want that? And car insurance is a must because it is required by the law and it will safeguard your own interest.
State minimum requirements
Delaware follows the no-fault system. It means that individual’s insurance company will cover up the expenses incurred during an accident and they require you to carry Personal Injury Protection (PIP).
PIP will help you pay for “reasonable and necessary” medical expenses as well as funeral arrangements for you and your passengers. The minimum Personal Injury Protection coverage is $10,000.
The state also requires you to have the following:
• Bodily Injury Liability (single person) – $10,000
• Bodily Injury Liability (multiple person)- $20,000
• Property Damage Liability- $10,000
Then it is highly recommended to have Uninsured / Under insured motorist protection to help you pay the damages if your insurance policy is not enough. You may consider insurance as an expensive thing but think of it, which is more expensive? Paying thousands of dollars in an instant for not having an insurance policy during an accident and is subject to fines and license suspension or paying a monthly insurance with less worries and hassle. Be logical enough…
